Ellipsis-Reprise (2012) is a full-scale sound and art installation created for the Berkeley Art Museum. The work combines piano, improvising choir, live electronics, and live mixing in a continuous performance environment.
The project was made in collaboration with designer and UC Berkeley Professor of Architecture Raveevarn Choksombatchai, with projections from Claudia Hart’s 3D animation art Recumulation and Dream. The performance took place in March 2012 and used the architecture of the Berkeley Art Museum as part of the musical and spatial design.
The full performance-installation lasted approximately 50 minutes and included Edmund Campion at the piano with interactive computer software, choir, and live mixing. The audio and video included here document excerpts from that performance environment.
